Fundraisers face ethical decisions in many aspects of their work. This program will deconstruct the ethics in fundraising and discuss why it’s important for us all to understand that these are ‘words to write by’. This program is an opportunity to detail the ways in which professional fundraisers face ethical decisions. Case examples and best practices will guide a lively and interactive discussion on an often misunderstood topic. The program will review: GPA Member 'Oath', Standards of Professional Practices, Client Choice Confidentiality, Contracts and Compensation.
