We’ve teamed up with Foundation Center Northeast for a new event aimed at making your life as a grantwriter more productive, innovative, and inspiring. Join us to discover a new collaborative grant planning process and get reenergized about your work!


There IS a Magic Bullet!: Compression Planning with Polly Binns, CFRE (3 hours)

Compression Planning ® (CP) is a visual planning process used by organizations across the country including governmental agencies, nonprofits, colleges and universities, and business and industry. It is an incredibly efficient approach to developing grants, creating metrics, solving problems, planning outreach, creating work plans, making decisions, and much more. CP builds collaborative planning and decision-making. This session will introduce you to theories of Compression Planning®, allow you to participate in/observe a planning session, and point you to resources that will help you leave the session with the skills to Work Smarter, Not Harder.


Grant Professionals are Superheroes with Diane H. Leonard, GPC (1 hour)

This session will highlight the many hats and specialties we wear/have as a grant professional and while we may tell our clients/employers that we can’t do it alone, and we *shouldn’t* do it alone, we in fact, are each our own unique super hero creating impact and change through our work.
