The Art of Storytelling: A Powerful Tool to Engage Funders
Storytelling is a powerful tool for engaging donors and other funders. How do you identify the best stories to "sell" your impact to funders? What are the best ways of telling the stories? How do we re-invent or share our stories in a way to not communicate the same ones over and over?
Join our panelists Crystal Robinson (Program Officer, Siragusa Family Foundation) and Emily Dreke (Vice President of Development and Communications, Chicago Foundation for Women), led by Moderator Pon Angara (Principal and Creative Director, Barkada Circle Storytelling Studio), to learn how best to create persuasive stories that combine the heart of your mission with why funders would care about the issue and support your work.
Chapter Members: $30 (must request promo code from chapter); Non-Members and Guests: $45
All requests to cancel a registration and receive a refund must be submitted in writing and sent via email to Program Committee Co-Chair Bev Saiz at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations and refund requests must be submitted seven (7) or more days prior to the scheduled meeting date.
We regret that no refunds can be granted for cancellations received after the registration deadline date. The GPA Chicago Area Chapter also regrets that refunds cannot be given for "no-shows". However, substitutions are gladly accepted. Please read the full cancellation policy here: https://gpa-chicago.org/cancellation_policy/
