If you have ever wondered what it might be like to start your own consulting practice—or if you are newly down that path—you surely have many questions about this new career: From marketing to setting up shop to setting fees, join two veteran consultants as they present a fast-paced Q&A around the most common questions asked and the honest answers you have craved.
Don Tebbe and Susan Schaefer have led workshops for new consultants around the country. During this power hour, they consolidate the thousands of questions asked of them over the years to the five most frequent and impactful. If you want to know whether you are on track in your own business practices, this webinar will help you ease your way from the nonprofit or governmental sector into a successful career as an entrepreneur. If your questions are not addressed, there will be time to ask your own.
Susan Schaefer founded her foundation grants-focused consultancy, Resource Partners LLC, in 2001. Since then, she has been on a mission to help other budding consultants get on a fast track to success. Susan co-edited of The Nonprofit Consulting Playbook and has facilitated workshops on this topic nationwide with Don Tebbe.
After over a decade as a nonprofit executive, Don started consulting 1993 as a solopreneur. In the early 2000’s, he cofounded a firm that grew into a seven-figure national practice. He sold his share of that business in 2013 and is pursuing an encore career helping leaders plot their next career move, including how to succeed as a consultant.
