If you have wondered what might be hindering your organization from partnering with national foundations, this discussion will offer insights from seemingly intractable situations that were overcome to grants success. Through case studies, participants will discuss  obstacles to funding from large regional or national foundations - and the ways in which they may or may not be intractable. Bring your questions and your own thorny issues!

About Our Presenter
Susan Schaefer specializes in foundation relations and helped lead the design of the $1.6 billion Gates Millennium Scholars Program, one of the largest private grants in history. She is a consultant, author and adjunct faculty member at Johns Hopkins University. She founded Resource Partners LLC in 2001 to help nonprofits bolster their philanthropic income and board resource development.
