After we click submit or put the application in the mail, there is often the concern that we could have done more to improve the application, or that we could have spent more time on a specific section of the proposal to ensure we score the maximum points.

In the session, we will review individual submissions provided by workshop participants as well as other work samples to critique applications and discuss how the application could have been more competitive. We will then walk through how to create and utilize a mock review process in your organization to provide as close to a reviewer's perspective as possible for each proposal prior to submission. Through hands-on exercises, we will learn how to help critique others proposals and how to solicit reviewer like feedback on our own proposals as a meant to improve our grant application's competitiveness in the future.

Participants for this workshop are encouraged to submit the following at least one week prior to diane@dhleonardconsulting.com:
- A grant narrative/letter of request that was either recently submitted, or has been previously submitted and denied.
- The funding guidelines that were provided by the funder (full RFP/NOFA/FOA) for the grant narrative/letter of request supplied.
These materials will be utilized during the hands-on exercise portions of the workshop and will be returned to you upon completion of the session, they will not be distributed to the public or used for other workshops.

Sorry, the event has reached its maximum number of attendees.
