North Carolina Chapter

Welcome!

Established in 2016, the North Carolina Chapter is in its first year of existence. Our chapter is comprised of grant professionals from across the state working in a variety of sectors, including local and state government, education, and healthcare. As a new chapter, we are excited about growing grantsmanship in North Carolina, and we are committed to carry out GPA’s mission to serve the greater public good by practicing the highest ethical and professional standards.  
 
Membership to the North Carolina Chapter is $25 per year and open to any current National GPA member.  Benefits of a chapter membership include access to special webinars and workshops, networking with local grant professionals, and eligibility to participate in an annual competition for a scholarship to the GPA National Conference.
 
Our chapter holds a minimum of four quarterly meetings per year, which are held in person or via teleconference. During these meetings, a portion of the time is reserved for special guest speakers. Previous and future presentations include topics such as logic models, ethics in grantsmanship, the federal funding process, and panel discussions with grant makers.
