Become a Grant Professional Super Star!

Grant writing won't land you a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but that doesn't mean you can't be a super star to your fellow grant professionals. “Be a Star” is a new fundraising campaign aimed at inspiring every GPA Chapter and GPA member to support the Grant Professionals Foundation Scholarship Fund.

When you make a gift to the campaign, you become a Grant Professional Star! Chapters are recognized as Star Chapters.

Your gift helps another aspiring grant writer become great at what they do. In fact, every time a grant professional gets better at her craft, she is impacting the credibility and stature of all grant professionals. But that's not all. The nonprofit missions that you personally care about - children, disabilities, animal welfare, education, homelessness - benefit from having a grant professional who has the tools for success.

Scholarships go to members who need the additional support to become a GPA member or to take advantage of educational and career advancement opportunities offered at the GPA Annual Conference and by the Grant Professionals Certification Institute. When funds are available, GPF also awards sponsorships for local and regional chapter conferences around the country. Over the coming months, you will learn more about how your support impacts the careers and lives of grant professionals.

Please join me and other “Be a Star” donors and make a one-time gift or spread it out over the entire year. It only takes a minute to give safely and securely online at www.grantprofessionalsfoundation.org and click the Donate button. Giving to support GPF scholarships is one way to influence how well all grant professionals do their jobs and ultimately how our profession is perceived.
