Chapter “Happenings” at Annual Conference in Chicago

Heading to the Annual Conference in November?  Are you a member of a chapter? Wondering how to start a chapter in your area? Well, you are in luck because we've got you covered either way!  Everyone is welcome at any of the below chapter-related events.

Wednesday, November 7th- Chapter Leader Meeting-this meeting is most useful to those already involved in their chapter's leadership and planning, but all are welcome!  The agenda will include topics such as chapter conference grants and aligning chapter plans with the GPA Long-Range Strategies.  Free to attend but please RSVP here.

Thursday, November 8th- Chapter Reception: Join us for a cash bar, a beautiful view of downtown Chicago, and casual conversation prior to heading out for the evening.  Grab a drink, meet your Regional Representative and others that are involved in chapters across the country! Staff will be on-hand to answer any questions about starting a new chapter, too! All are welcome, no RSVP necessary!

Saturday, November 10th- Feeling Alone, Want New Friends - Learn How to Start a GPA Chapter in Your Area with leaders from the Wisconsin Chapter of GPA.  Plan to attend this session if you'd like a deeper dive into what it takes to successfully start and grow a new GPA chapter. For more information on this session click here.

We hope to see you at any of these events at the Annual Conference.  If you are not planning on attending the conference, but have questions about chapters, feel free to contact your Regional Representative or Shelley Wales, Chapter Relations Manager at GPA Headquarters.
