GPA Events & Volunteer Update - August 2018

Thanks to all of our GPA Volunteers!

All of GPA Committees and Task Forces, by now, should have received their approved (or amended) work plans back from the Board of Directors. Now is the time to start implementing the work and make adjustments to the plan as you go along. A progress report template should have accompanied the work plan. Each committee will use this to show the Long Range Planning committee and Board of Directors the progress that is being made on their items. The first progress report will be due later this year for the Board to review at their November Board Meeting. If you have any questions about this, please let us know.

If you are planning to attend the annual conference in Chicago, we would love your help. We have volunteer opportunities throughout the conference and you can use your hours towards your GPC renewal! These opportunities include serving as a Session Ambassadors (formerly called Session Hosts), volunteering at the Registration Desk and more. Plans for the conference are really coming together and we are excited to be celebrating 20 years of GPA conferences!

Now's the time to start thinking about if you plan to continue to serve on your committee or task force in 2019. We will start reaching out in October to find out who plans to continue to serve so we can fill any open positions by the first of the year.

Should you have any questions regarding any of this or wish to volunteer with GPA, please don't hesitate to contact me at barb@grantprofessionals.org or 913-788-3000.

Thanks again for all you do!
