Events & Volunteer Update - Summer 2018

Thanks to all of our GPA Volunteers!

I hope that you were able to figure out that it was a USB port that was sent to you during National Volunteer Week in April (next year we'll include directions!). This was our little way of saying “Thank You” for all you do for our committees, chapters, and Boards.

All of GPA Committees and Task Forces, by now, should have their work plans put together to address the tasks their committee was assigned based on the new strategic plan. While many committees were overwhelmed by the amount of tasks, it's a great time to remind you that this is a three year plan and is also an evolving plan so workload will definitely change and adjust over the next several years. The Long Range Planning Committee and Board of Directors will be reviewing all of the work plans over the next several weeks.

GPA Staff is also busy working on the 2018 GPA Annual Conference that will take place November 7-10 at the Swissotel in Chicago, IL. The agenda and breakout session schedule has been set and we are working on securing our sponsors and exhibitors for the event.  Now is the time to register and reserve your room! Keep your eyes open for more fun and exciting information about the conference coming in the next several months!

Should you have any questions regarding any of this or wish to volunteer with GPA, please don't hesitate to contact me at barb@grantprofessionals.org or 913-788-3000.

Thanks again for all you do!

Hey Grace - We will start taking volunteers the first full week of August. Watch your email and the 2018 Conference Community in GrantZone for more information.
