Volunteer Relations Program - Winter 2017

Thanks to all of our GPA Volunteers! Our association is who we are because of what you do.

In November of 2016, the GPA Board of Directors adopted a Volunteer Policy that furthered the restructuring of the committees and task forces that was done earlier in the year. This policy (which is available on the GPA website under Members Only/Volunteer), helps clarify what a volunteer is, our expectations, and operations. Should you have any questions about it please let me know.

With those changes 2017 is off to a great start but we are still in need of some more volunteers to fill out our committee rosters. If you are interested in learning more, please let me know.

I am also currently working on the Chapter Leaders webinars for the year. Our first will be held in March and will be giving you a preview of the online platform Zoom and how you could use it for your chapter. If you did not receive an email from me regarding this webinar, email me and I will get you the information.

I am in the middle of planning for National Volunteer week (April 24-28) and figuring out how the staff here at headquarters can let you know just how much we truly appreciate all of you for what you do.

Should you have any questions on volunteering or wish to volunteer with GPA, please don't hesitate to contact me at barb@grantprofessionals.org or 913-788-3000.

Thanks again for being the best volunteers!
